DESCRIPTION:
The dagger is a little smaller than the dirk. Its sharply pointed, double-edged blade was designed mainly as a weapon of war to pierce metal body armor. The addition of a quillian protects the wielder's hand from being cut in close combat. It too can be worn tucked in the belt or in a sheath made of raw hide or wood.
